"During the last half century or so, there has been throughout the world a gradual but continual decline in many phases of life. We observe relationships without morality, science without humanity, knowledge without character, business without ethics, worship without sacrifice, pleasure without conscience, politics without principle, and wealth without works." President Thomas S. Monson
The loss of these values will promote international chaos. We must work to preserve these things in order to have provident lives.

"Plan to build up your food supply just as you would a savings account. Save a little for storage each paycheck. Can or bottle fruit and vegetables from your gardens and orchards. Learn how to preserve food through drying and possibly freezing. Make your storage a part of your budget...We urge you to do this prayerfully and do it now." President Ezra Taft Bensen Ensign, Nov. 1980
Everyone is encouraged to take the time to watch the preparedness DVD that was delivered to your home.
